TOTAL Consumption:

The total consumption is 0.7 m2/Kg on average in single layer by depending on surface smoothness, absorbance and application method. (white product consumption: 1 m2/Kg; colored product consumption: 2 m2/Kg.

APPLICATION SURFACE:

All surfaces that Betek Marble will be applied should be smooth, strong, dry, clean and in a condition that can carry paint. The surface should necessarily be pasted by Betek Universal Paste. Plaster cracks should be filled in the same way. The surface preparation process should complete by applying Betek Decorative Primer after the pasted surface is sanded.
1.Step: Betek Marble colored in paste density is applied to the surface whose Preparations have been completed without being thinned from out to inside in circular motions with 2nd numbered trowel. It should be required approximately 1000g/m2 product application to provide to be covered of bottom surface completely. The applied material should be left for dry for 24 hours for preventing cracks and falls that can be occurred in following steps. Drying time should be longer in cool and damp.
2. Step: Surface is framed with masking band. The product colored with Betek Marble color pastes 3 days ago is applied with 1st numbered trowel. The surface is made smooth with circular motions from out to inside. After application, while the product is not dried, the masking band is removed. The consumption in this step is 300 g/m2. , Dry duration is 2-3 hours.
3.Step: Betek Marble is applied to surface with 2nd numbered trowel as two layers after drying. The consumption is approximately 200 g/m2. It is started to polishing process with 2 numbered trowel without not being dried of the product soon after the application. It should be applied carefully and by not pressing much.  If it is pressed much, it occurs a crossed appearance. After polishing process, it should be left for dry for 24 hours.
4. Step: It should be started to apply Marble protective paste to the surface with 2 numbered Trowel for protecting surface from the spots that will be able to occur day by day. The consumption of Betek Marble applied by 2nd numbered trowel is approximately 40 g/m2.

THINNING:

It is ready to use.
